Godein Rovenra comes from an unknown heritage, born in the west and abandoned at a Temple of Iomedae in the West. Growing up in the monastic environs of the temple, Godein was educated in the tenets of Iomedae, Valor, Rulership, Justice and Honor whilst also being given an education of the world, reading and writing.
When Godein reached 16, old by most initates standards, he travelled to the High Temple of Iomedae to find a path for his life to take. Godein began to rail against the absolute devotion of those who walked the path of the Paladin, finding that absolute honor, whilst admirable, left dark roots in places where they might return to torment the populous again. With this, Godein began the path of the Inquisitor, learning subterfuge and stealth to infiltrate the evils that would undermine the tenets and the Pantheon of Iomedae.
His long training complete, Godein has left the temple, with orders to uphold the virtues of Iomedae and route out the darkness whereever it may dwell.
