Toastee - what's your policy on what happens when a character dies? Does the player re-roll a new character, and does that new character start at the same level your previous died at, or do they start at level 1? Also, side note, woot for coming up with the language standard for Elven and Undercommon colors. Cheers for the answers.

Yeah I saw your idea and decided to pilfer it. x3
It's entirely up to the player really. If being brought back to life is an option, then you can always do that... but that option is really only going to be available to higher lvl characters, as its not an easy thing and will be expensive.
If you die, you get the option of making a new character at anywhere up to the lvl you had reached, or you can start again fresh.
I suspect that this will be highly dependant on where you are and who else dies with you. As Sandpoint will always be the start area. So I suppose it really depends on the situation at the time.

Got it. I have a thing for making a bazillion characters (like a "deck") so just wasn't sure if I should be leveling them as my main levels or anything like that. I've got two other characters, one made at level 1 and one just a concept, so far... that way, should anything happen to my main, I've got some options as to who to bring in/etc.

Hehe, aye, I guess its always good to have back-ups ready.
That said, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Death will probably happen in one of three ways;
1: You kill your own character off to fit with story. 2: I kill you character off to fit with story. (This probably won't happen, and if it does, will probably be very much linked with 1.) 3: The Dice Gods hate you.

You're talking to the guy who can't make a 3+ armor save to save his life. Or that of a Space Marine...

Then I suspect that it is somewhat prudent of you to have a 'deck' of back up characters. *cackle*
