Having waited a few seconds Zhen knocked a little more forcefully on the door and waited. "Hmm, well doesn't seem to be in, or he's deliberately ignoring the knock."
Turning around he went slowly down the stairsthinking to himself. "Well that's that idea out the window then. I hope Orcana can convince that dwarf to come along. Not only as another pair of eyes on the drow but the party definitely needs to be bigger as we don't really know what's out there. "
He reached the bottom of the stairs just in time to see Romi put something away in a bag and under the counter. Looking over at the bar he could see Orcana talking to the dwarf. Well I don't want to interrupt that so I suppose it's back over to the drow. Firstly though "Miss Kaijitsu, the Inquisitor from room 10 doesn't seem to be answering the door. You may need to check if you've not seen him come out after awhile, left too long could result in funny smells that might be hard to get out of the bedding"
With that he walked back over to Shadows table and sat down. "Well you'll be glad to know that Inquisitor Godein will not be joining us. I hope your companion is eloquent as with only the three of us I think we'd have a hard time of it." "How are you guys for supplies? I've pretty much just got some basic trail rations and a bed roll. All a single traveller requires. Miss Kaijitsu reminded that it's Sunday and getting supplies will be hard when the store's shut."

When the human came back down the stairs without the inquisitor, Shadow was relieved more than anything. While it would certainly make their trek more difficult with fewer members in their group, there was something about that man that Shadow didn't trust. Not to mention, the whole crossbow incident... Yes, better without him, I think.
"We survive," was his response to Zhen's question. He and Orcana each had various rations and supplies but for the most part they were able to fend for themselves out in the wild. Of course, it was primarily Orcana who was the hunter. Shadow was at best an extra pair of hands. He turned his attention to her and the dwarf, wondering if the bearded one would be inclined to join them.

Raising an eyebrow at the unexpected female to the side of him, Durgean turned away as Romi was putting the hammer back in it's bag. Frowing slightly he realised it was the elf from last night who had aimed a bow at everyone, protecting the drow.
"Aye lass, that it does. It is dwarven made, never fails to pull on the ol' heartstrings.". Wondering why she came over to speak to him, Durgean noticed the monk and drow still chatting stiltedly over his shoulder and most of the humans had headed off together. It was now just him, the monk and the elves. "What can I do for you lass? You and your friends looking for a guide?" He asked, grinning to show his obvious joke to the ranger.

For the gods I hate this! Orcana thought. Why do I force myself to do these things! Orcana took another breath to relax herself. What she would give to feel the relaxing effect of a little wine right now. She found herself staring at her hands as she ran her thumbnail down the palm of her left hand. It was getting sore so she shook her hands off and tried to push past the urge to just walk away.
"We have taken it upon ourselves to address a peculiar livestock problem" she said, nodding back towards the announcement board. "And we really need someone of your talents. You look handy in a fight," she paused for a moment as the dwarf took another slug of his ale. "And you seem to be good company." She forced a smile on her face but the pit of her stomach was all knots and butterflies.

"Livestock, eh? I remember that from the board. I was hoping to look into these goblin attacks, seems those manlings have taken off somewhere. And that other one doesn't seem interested in waking up. I suppose I should do something with my time, whilst I am here." Supping on his pipe he turned to the elf, waiting upon her reply.

I think we should just assume I joined them, and you can close this thread. Just make it easier.
